Homemade Ketchup
Most store bought ketchup is made with high fructose corn syrup...no thank you! Here is a healthier and I would say tastier version of ketchup.
Simple, healthier, cheaper and no waste!
Ingredients:
- 300ml tomato paste
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp organic gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp brine (kombucha, water kefir etc.)
Mix all ingredients together.
You can use it right away if you got some fries ready to munch on. Otherwise, leave it on the counter with a cheesecloth overnight and stick it in the fridge first thing in the morning
Fermented ketchup gives it that extra health kick!
